About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Circle K. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in the success of our store by assisting the Store Manager with the oversight of store operations, supervising staff, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Store Manager with the day-to-day operations of the store, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of sales associates and management staff.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Manage store inventory, including ordering supplies, monitoring inventory levels, and implementing inventory control procedures.
  • Assist with the preparation of sales reports, including sales data, customer traffic, and inventory levels.
  • Participate in store promotions and events, including setting up displays, promoting products, and engaging with customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager, including opening and closing the store, processing transactions, and maintaining store equipment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of retail management experience, including experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, staff, and management.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
