Transportation Specialist

The Quincy Kroc Center Youth department is dedicated to creating a safe and engaging space for children to learn, grow, and thrive.
As a Transportation Specialist, you will play a vital role in our mission to provide safe and reliable transportation to children in our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport school-aged children from area schools to the Kroc Center.
- Ensure kids are safe and following the rules at all times.
- Be a friendly and trusted adult figure for the kids during their ride.
- Follow scheduled routes and ensure everyone is picked-up and dropped-off on time.
- Keep the vehicle clean and report any maintenance needs.
- Maintain a friendly and positive atmosphere while following all traffic laws.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Clean driving record (no tickets or accidents in the last 3 years).
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible with great attention to safety.
- A love for kids and a positive attitude.
- Patience, reliability, and empathy.
Position Details & Perks:
Pay rate is $17/hour
Driving hours are Monday-Friday 2:30-4:00pm
Summer hours may vary depending on Youth Program needs
