Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop substation systems, including layout, equipment selection, and control systems.
  • Perform electrical engineering work, including design, analysis, and testing of substation systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and maintenance records.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to operations teams, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to substation systems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in substation engineering or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including circuit analysis, power systems, and control systems.
  • Proficient in design software, including AutoCAD and electrical design software.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Experience with industry standards and regulations, including IEEE and NERC.
  • Knowledge of substation layout and major equipment, including breakers, switches, and substation steel.
