Position Overview
Auburn Meadows Assisted Living
Compensation: Starting at competitive rates with shift differentials
Sign-on Bonus: $1000 for full-time hires, $500 for part-time hires
Employment Type: Part-time with evening and overnight shifts available
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking dedicated Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) who are passionate about enhancing the lives of our residents. Join our award-winning long-term care community and collaborate with our healthcare team to assist residents with daily activities, including personal hygiene, meal assistance, and mobility support. You will also be responsible for administering medications, monitoring health changes, and documenting care provided.
Our CNAs are committed professionals who deliver care with integrity and compassion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support residents in achieving and maintaining their highest level of independence and well-being through personal care and daily living assistance.
- Implement treatments as directed by the Registered Nurse according to individualized care plans.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse, and respiration, and report any changes to the RN.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided using a computerized charting system.
- Observe residents and report any changes in their physical or emotional condition to the supervisor.
- Assist residents with personal care tasks, which may include hair washing, bathing, nail care, and medication management.
- Perform additional duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
- Demonstrated patience, empathy, and compassion in caregiving.
- Strong observation and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping purposes.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform essential job functions safely.
- Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English to communicate effectively with staff and residents.
- Knowledge of the Resident's Bill of Rights.
