About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Care Pract II to join our team. This individual will be responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge of respiratory therapy principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients requiring invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation.

Responsibilities
  • Perform patient assessments, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure
  • Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate the need for and response to respiratory therapy
  • Administer respiratory care therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy
  • Assist with placement of artificial airways and initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation
  • Monitor patients for therapeutic response and notify providers as necessary
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 90 days of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
  • RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT / RCP) certification or State Registered Respiratory Therapist, or State Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician, or Vocational School Graduate, or Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree, or Certificate, or Masters Degree
Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $ $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package, including comprehensive medical coverage, dental and vision benefits, life insurance, disability coverage, and retirement savings options.
