We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Elderwood at Grand Island. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing high-quality speech-language therapy services.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify communication problems and develop personalized therapy plans.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to residents, focusing on speech, language, and cognitive skills.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and effective communication.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including progress notes and discharge summaries.
- Participate in staff meetings and in-service training to stay up-to-date on best practices and company policies.
- M.A. or M.S. Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an approved school.
- State license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Clinical Competence Certification from the American Speech and Hearing Association (preferred).
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
- Current, valid CPR/BLS certification.
