Nursing Department Coordinator Job Summary
At Christian Horizons, we are seeking a skilled Nursing Department Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our nursing department, you will be responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and adjusting nursing department schedules as required to ensure proper coverage for all shifts and units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor nursing department schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels
- Recruit replacement nursing staff for absences or shortages as needed
- Monitor timecards daily to ensure accurate payroll processing
- Collaborate with the Scheduler, Nursing, HRIS, Administrative, and Healthcare teams to ensure seamless operations
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency in scheduling software and systems
