Imagery Support Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Customer Support Specialist to join our team at Capella Space, a leading provider of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite technology and signal intelligence. As an imagery support specialist, you will be responsible for delivering timely and reliable Earth imagery to customers in governments, academia, and commercial sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work in a tri-weekly on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support to customers.
  • Develop expertise in Capella products and systems, as well as 3rd party systems and applications used in day-to-day roles such as Console, Postman (API), Zendesk, Sales Force, Command Line Interface (CLI), AWS Snowflake, and GIS tools.
  • Provide polished customer service via email, video recordings, virtual meetings, and occasional phone calls.
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders through professional interactions embodying company core values.
  • Leverage subject-matter expertise to assist customers and internal parties in resolving issues.
  • Support Sales, Product, and other internal parties in ensuring customers have access to assistance throughout the customer journey.
Salary and Benefits

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with remotely-sensed imagery and data products.
  • Technical experience in customer support in a DaaS or SaaS role.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in external customer-focused roles.
  • Undergraduate degree or technical certification in Geography, GIS, or Remote Sensing Technology preferred.
