Position Overview:
As a Pharmacy Intern in the Inpatient Care department, you will play a vital role in supporting the pharmacy team in delivering high-quality medication management services.

Department:
Inpatient Pharmacy Services

Work Schedule:
Variable shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in performing the responsibilities of a staff pharmacist under the guidance of a licensed pharmacist.
2. Maintain accurate narcotic records and ensure the proper distribution of controlled substances.
3. Support the selection, administration, and monitoring of medications under supervision.
4. Accurately dispense medications for patient care areas and may engage in compounding activities.
5. Collaborate with pharmacists to maintain and review patient medication profiles, providing essential medication information and education to healthcare staff and patients.

Qualifications:
Licensure / Certification:
Preferred registration as a Pharmacy Intern.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; enrollment in an accredited pharmacy program is mandatory.
