Key Responsibilities

Equipment Management
Accountable for the precise and timely setup, operation, and dismantling of intermediate audiovisual equipment as specified in the technical qualifications.
Diagnose technical challenges and swiftly implement solutions as they occur.
Adhere to all company security and safety protocols.
Ensure equipment is safeguarded against theft and/or damage during use.

Client Relations
Deliver outstanding service and aim to surpass the expectations of both internal and external clients.
Maintain positive interactions with all clients through effective communication.
Meet with clients on-site to confirm their requirements are met and that the equipment setup is functioning correctly.
Monitor events and engage with clients throughout the day.
Understand and nurture the relationship between the hotel and clients.

Training and Development
Assist in the training of technicians on all operational activities and service expectations.
Act as a mentor for new team members.
Promote and exemplify a positive work environment aligned with company values.

Operational Oversight
Coordinate daily floor activities to ensure timely setup, refresh, and removal of equipment.
Conduct daily management of floor operations, directing technician workflow and assisting management with staffing and scheduling needs.
Ensure equipment documentation is updated and accurately completed.
Collaborate with the team to establish effective communication for event management.
Participate in venue meetings as necessary.

Equipment Care
Perform routine maintenance on equipment to maintain its appearance and functionality.
Lead the team in proper security, storage, transportation, and upkeep of equipment.
Participate in inventory counts as requested.

Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
3-5 years of experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
3-5 years of audiovisual experience is required.
Internal candidates must be Technical 1-Star Certified prior to application. External candidates will need to obtain their Technical 1-Star Certification within 60 days of starting.
Strong understanding of technical principles.
Advanced problem-solving abilities.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Experience in leading teams and managing workflows.
A valid driver's license is necessary for roles that may involve operating company vehicles.
