Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cyber Risk Underwriter to become part of our expanding team. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage in the dynamic field of cyber risk, allowing you to collaborate with a variety of clients across different industries.
As a Cyber Risk Underwriter, your primary responsibilities will include evaluating, pricing, and managing risks associated with cyber insurance policies. You will play a crucial role in developing our cyber insurance products and ensuring we deliver optimal value to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and underwrite new applications for cyber insurance policies.
- Analyze and quantify risks related to cyber exposures.
- Collaborate with sales and client service teams to foster and maintain client relationships.
- Develop and execute underwriting strategies for cyber risk.
- Stay informed on industry trends, emerging risks, and regulatory developments concerning cyber risk.
- Provide expert guidance and advice to clients regarding cyber risk and insurance solutions.
- Maintain precise documentation and ensure adherence to underwriting guidelines and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Cyber Underwriting, Cyber Insurance Underwriting, Risk Analysis, or Risk Management.
- Strong comprehension of the cyber insurance landscape, including policy forms, rating structures, and risk appetite.
- Advanced analytical capabilities to evaluate and quantify complex risks.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to cultivate strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Detail-oriented with robust organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proven history of making sound underwriting decisions.
- Professional insurance designation (CPCU, CIC, CRM, etc.) or equivalent is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field is required.
- Advanced degree or certification in Cybersecurity is a plus.
