Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Psychologist to join our team at Harvard University Health Services. As a Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing assessment and clinical care for a diverse population of Harvard employees and their dependents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the clinical management of patients through the process of evaluation, diagnosis, consultation, and referral to the appropriate resources.
  • Provide individual, group, and crisis intervention.
  • Coordinate out-patient visits to ensure timely access to the appropriate services.
  • Identify and monitor high risk patients and expedites an individualized crisis management plan.
  • Develop and maintain mechanisms to assure continuity of care for individuals requiring acute care.
Requirements
  • PsyD or PhD or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum of 7 years' relevant work experience.
  • Current Massachusetts license in Psychology.
Working Conditions

All Harvard University Health Services staff and staff affiliates are considered Health Care Workers and as a condition of employment must provide documentation of the following:

  • Letter of good health from your personal health care provider.
  • TB skin test (within past 3 months) or, if known skin test positive, documentation of previous chest x-ray, information about any past treatment.
  • Documentation of immunity (positive antibody titers) for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella.
  • Proof of appropriate past immunization for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella.
  • Hepatitis B vaccine series - required for staff with possible exposure to blood or blood borne pathogens.
  • A current Flu vaccine (this season) and Covid vaccines to include the Primary series and Bivalent Booster.
