Position Overview:
Join our team at Crystal's Cuddle Bugs Childcare Center as a Lead Educator for our Preschool 2 Program. We are looking for passionate individuals with a solid foundation in early childhood education to lead our young learners in a supportive and stimulating environment.

As a Lead Educator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experiences of children aged 3-5, while also guiding and supporting fellow staff members in their professional development.


Key Responsibilities:

Classroom Leadership:

Oversee and nurture a classroom of preschoolers, ensuring a safe and engaging atmosphere that promotes learning and growth.

Design and execute developmentally appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards and foster children's social, emotional, and cognitive skills.


Staff Supervision and Mentorship:
Mentor assistant teachers and aides, creating a collaborative and positive team environment.

Child Development Assessment:
Monitor and evaluate children's progress, recognizing individual needs and crafting strategies to enhance their learning journey.

Build strong relationships with families, keeping them informed about their child's development and classroom activities.


Collaboration with Team:
Work in partnership with other educators and administrative staff to ensure the effective operation of the childcare program.

Classroom Management:
Employ effective management techniques to encourage positive behavior and resolve conflicts.

Safety and Compliance:
Follow all safety protocols and licensing regulations, ensuring a clean and secure environment for children.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is highly preferred.

An Associate's degree or 28 credits in early childhood education or relevant fields, including art, psychology, sociology, or teaching, along with a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, will be considered.

Experience in early childhood education settings is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong understanding of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education.
Proven ability to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with children, families, and colleagues.
A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering the growth of young learners.
Ability to inspire and motivate both staff and students to achieve their full potential.
