Position Overview: The Department of Veteran Affairs is actively seeking a dedicated Gastroenterologist to become a part of our esteemed team in Honolulu.

Work Environment: Enjoy a harmonious work-life balance while collaborating with a supportive and collegial group of professionals. This role is entirely outpatient, ensuring no on-call responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive assessments and physical examinations.
  • Administer treatment and coordinate medical care in collaboration with primary care providers, specialists, social workers, data managers, pharmacists, dietitians, nursing staff, and other key personnel.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.

Work Schedule: Standard hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, with the possibility of a 4/10 schedule. Flexibility to work on Saturdays may be required, and the schedule is subject to change as directed by management.

Travel Requirements: Candidates must be open to inter-island travel as well as occasional trips to Guam.
