About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Exton, PA. As a key member of our engineering team, you will lead and work on various Mechanical Engineer and Process Engineering projects, collaborating with clients and colleagues to deliver successful solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a range of mechanical engineering activities, including project planning, design, and implementation.
  • Work directly with clients to define project requirements and deliver appropriate solutions based on a defined budget and schedule.
  • Develop standard engineering documents, including user requirement specifications, basis of design narratives, and process and instrumentation diagrams.
  • Provide input for development of cost estimates and execute commissioning plans and checklists.
  • Apply cGMPs, sanitary design, and clean design principles to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
Requirements
  • Education: BS or higher in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
  • Familiarity with cGMP and regulatory guidelines, as well as clean design practices.
  • Experience with writing specifications for piping systems, including utility and clean utilities.
  • Familiarity with IBC, IFC, NFPA, and OSHA regulations as they relate to manufacturing facilities and hazardous materials.
  • Experience with industrial ventilation principles and understanding of HVAC systems.
  • Ability to recognize and handle combustible dusts.
  • Experience with start-up and commissioning of mechanical and process systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary project teams.
