Job Title: Senior Process Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to join our team at DHD Consulting. As a key member of our process engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering successful solutions to our clients in the biotechnology, biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, and specialty chemical industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead process engineering activities associated with delivering solutions to clients.
  • Work with clients to define project requirements and deliver appropriate solutions.
  • Develop standard engineering documents, including user requirement specifications, process and basis of design narratives, and utility and process flow diagrams.
  • Verify the correct implementation of systems as designed and compliance with applicable standards.
  • Support project managers with start-up and commissioning efforts.
  • Execute projects varying in size, with a focus on projects of larger scope and/or higher technical complexity.
  • Ensure the quality of design documents.
  • Develop junior engineers.
  • Reinforce an atmosphere of safety and a commitment to design excellence.
Requirements:
  • Education level: BS or higher in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • PE license preferred; not required.
  • Minimum 15 years experience in process engineering, preferably in our core industries.
  • Familiar with requirements of cGMP and regulator guidelines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Results-oriented, with good organization skills, attention to detail, and the capability of efficiently working simultaneously on multiple projects.
  • Positive perspective with the ability to engender a team attitude amongst colleagues and clients.
