Job Title:
Senior Mechanical Engineer

Actalent is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead and work on various Mechanical Engineering and Process Engineering projects. This role requires working on fast-paced, technically complex projects in the industrial, chemical, biotech, pharmaceutical, and food industries.

Scope of work to include:
  • Lead a range of mechanical engineering activities associated with delivering successful solutions to clients in the food and beverage, biotechnology, biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical industries, and specialty chemical industries.
  • Work directly with clients to define project requirements and deliver appropriate solutions to meet the stated needs based on a defined budget and schedule.
  • Develop standard engineering documents associated with projects at various stages of execution from Conceptual Design to Construction documents.

Requirements:
  • Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
  • 8-10+ years of experience
  • Familiarity with cGMP and Regulatory guidelines and clean design practices
  • Experience with Piping Systems including utility and clean utilities
  • AutoCAD and Revit experience
  • Familiarity with IBC, IFC, NFPA, and OSHA for manufacturing and hazardous materials
