Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Production Technician to join our team at Facility Gateway Critical Services. This role involves a variety of tasks focused on the assembly and quality assurance of electronic components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Wire Preparation: Cut and strip tin wires, and solder them to designated cups.
  • Assembly Execution: Carry out wiring and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) in accordance with blueprints and schematics.
  • Component Installation: Insert and solder various components, including resistors and capacitors, onto circuit boards as per technical drawings, utilizing magnification tools for precision.
  • Quality Control: Conduct visual inspections of components, sub-assemblies, and final products to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and FDA standards.
  • Measurement Accuracy: Utilize precise measurement instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges to perform and document measurements accurately.
  • Safety Monitoring: Oversee the safety of the work environment and the operational status of assembly equipment, reporting any issues to the Cell Leader or Supervisor.
  • Hand Assembly: Execute hand assembly tasks using mechanical presses, hand tools, and heat guns.
  • Inspection Procedures: Diligently inspect assemblies at various stages of production using microscopes and other magnification aids, while interpreting written assembly instructions in English.
  • Rework and Repair: Perform necessary rework, repairs, and adjustments on cable assemblies and harnesses as required.
  • Data Management: Retrieve and input information into spreadsheets and electronic documentation systems.
  • Documentation: Accurately record measurements and quality data on work order travelers and forms.
  • Workplace Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Policy Compliance: Understand and adhere to all established policies and procedures outlined in the employee handbook and code of conduct.
