Argus Technical Services is seeking a skilled Electrical Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling electronic devices and circuits using a variety of materials and techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble electronic devices and circuits using PCB assembly, soldering, and surface mount technology.
- Fabricate and assemble mechanical components using mechanical knowledge.
- Read and interpret schematics and circuit diagrams to ensure accurate assembly.
- Test and troubleshoot electronic components and circuits using an ohmmeter.
- Program and test electronic devices using logic controllers.
- Measure and inspect components and assemblies using a caliper.
- Solder electronic components and circuits with precision and accuracy.
- Work in a fast-paced production environment with attention to detail and quality.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective assembly and testing processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in electrical assembly, including PCB assembly and surface mount technology.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience with fabrication techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and circuit diagrams.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and programming languages.
- Experience with soldering and electronic testing techniques, including the use of an ohmmeter.
