Position Overview:

We are looking for a meticulous and well-organized Accounting Specialist to become a vital part of our finance department. The successful candidate will be tasked with a variety of accounting responsibilities, including data entry, reconciliation, inventory oversight, cash management, and handling both accounts receivable and payable.

Location: Bend, Oregon

Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Compensation: $20 - $25 per hour, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Entry: Precisely input financial information into the accounting system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Inventory Oversight: Monitor and manage inventory levels, process related transactions, and maintain precise inventory documentation.
  • Cash Management: Verify daily cash balances, conduct cash reconciliations, and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Accounts Receivable: Manage customer invoicing, track payments, and oversee outstanding receivable accounts.
  • Accounts Payable: Process vendor invoices, manage payments, and maintain accurate records for accounts payable.
  • Invoicing: Create and distribute invoices to clients, ensuring precision and timely delivery.
  • Reporting: Assist in preparing various financial reports and summaries for management review.
  • Compliance: Uphold adherence to all company policies and accounting standards.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in an accounting capacity, ideally within a retail context.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
