Key Responsibilities
  • Loan Processing: Process HE/HELOC loan applications from submission to closing, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Collateral Management: Review appraisals, title searches, and insurance coverage to ensure compliance with BHSFFCU and government agencies.
  • Member Communication: Notify members of acceptance or denial of loan in a timely manner, providing guidance when necessary.
  • Closing Requirements: Ensure all closing conditions are met, including current insurance policies and coverage amounts.
  • TRID Compliance: Prepare the Closing Disclosure within the required timeframes and update the lending system accordingly.
  • Backup Lending Specialist: Serve as a backup to the Lending Specialist as needed and process Vehicle, Personal, and Credit Card loan requests.
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions.
  • NMLS Registration.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Supervisory and training abilities.
  • Professional appearance, dress, and attitude.
  • Solid math skills.
  • Ability to operate related computer software and other business equipment.
Working Conditions

This is a sedentary role with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs. Must be capable of climbing/descending stairs in emergency situations and working extended hours when required.
