Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at North County Nursing & Rehabilitation. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our residents.

Job Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant will be responsible for providing routine daily nursing care and services to our residents, as outlined in their individual care plans. This includes assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as providing emotional support and companionship.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide routine daily nursing care and services to residents, as outlined in their individual care plans.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
  • Use the wristband or photo card file to identify residents before administering treatments, serving meals, etc.
  • Record all entries on flow sheets, notes, charts, etc., in an informative and descriptive manner.
  • Report all changes in the resident's condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse as soon as practical.
  • Report all accidents and incidents you observe on the shift that they occur.
Requirements:
  • Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with laws of this state.
  • Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
