Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at North County Nursing & Rehabilitation. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Job Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant will be responsible for providing routine daily nursing care and services to residents, as outlined in their individual care plans. This includes assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as providing emotional support and companionship.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as eating, toileting, and transferring
  • Monitor residents' vital signs and report any changes to the Nurse Supervisor
  • Assist with medication administration and documentation
  • Participate in resident care conferences and contribute to the development of individual care plans
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, including their rooms and common areas
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements:
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in good standing
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
