Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safety of residents through effective behavioral interventions.
  • Manage resident account funds, balance daily transactions, and provide monthly statements.
  • Coordinate with the community liaison to ensure resident needs are met and families are informed.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulatory agency requirements and perform billing procedures.
  • Submit orders for food, paper goods, chemicals, and consumables within budgetary constraints.
  • Respond to emergencies, including calling EMS and families as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and presentable environment, including dining rooms, living rooms, and hallways.
  • Practice good hygiene and infection control techniques.
  • Provide tours of the facility to visitors and answer phones as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, be able to read, write, and follow instructions, and have a strong understanding of ALF regulations. You should also be able to manage stress, prioritize tasks, and make decisions under pressure.

Work Environment

This role requires moderate physical demands, including frequent walking, stooping, and lifting. You must be willing to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
