Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Embalmer - Funeral Director to join our team at Service Corporation International. As a Funeral Director, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to families during their time of need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preside over visitation, funeral, and graveside services, ensuring a professional and organized experience for families and guests.
  • Collaborate with families to create personalized funeral arrangements, including selecting music, flowers, and other memorial items.
  • Manage funeral services, including coordinating with vendors, preparing event spaces, and ensuring timely execution of services.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to families, helping them navigate the funeral planning process.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to company standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Current Funeral Director and Embalmer dual license within the practicing state.
  • Valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Industry experience preferred, but not required.
