Job Title: Construction Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team at Insight Global in Washington, DC. As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing construction and renovation projects in commercial office and retail spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and manage construction/renovation plans to ensure compliance with building guidelines.
  • Oversee teams of contractors performing renovations and ensure timely completion.
  • Grant building access for work to be carried out and schedule fire and safety inspections upon completion.
  • Write construction and/or renovation estimates and scopes of work for review and selection.
  • Participate in meetings with the Operations & Real Estate team and clients to update construction projects lists.
  • Establish relationships with clients, tenants, and building owners to coordinate and expedite project efforts.
  • Prepare written documents defining project courses of action and funding requests for approval.
  • Work with the Fire and Safety Branch to inspect construction and/or renovation projects for issuance of Certificates of Occupancy.
  • Perform general administrative duties and maintain current project management job knowledge.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of Construction Management or Project Manager experience.
  • Experience developing and managing the construction of commercial office and retail spaces.
  • Eligibility for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • PMP Certification.
  • AutoCAD (or other CAD tool) experience.
  • Experience with issuance of Certificates of Occupancy.
Compensation and Benefits:

Annual compensation: $80,000 - $105,000. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
