Job Title: Touch Sensing Module Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Sensing Product Design team at Apple. As a Touch Sensing Module Design Engineer, you will be responsible for specifying, developing, characterizing, and validating touch sensing systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop touch sensing systems for Apple products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sensing technology into products
  • Conduct experiments and analyze data to reduce design risk
  • Ensure designs meet Apple's high customer experience and industrial design standards
Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience crafting mechanical components or systems for a production environment
  • Proficiency in 2D drafting, 3D conceptual modeling, tolerance analysis, and design trade-offs
  • Strong mechanical engineering analytical skills
  • Ability to collect and use data to advise decisions and fuel debate
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with high volume mass production or consumer electronics
