Join a dynamic team at the Alabama Department of Education and take on a challenging role as a JROTC Leadership Educator.

As a JROTC Leadership Educator, you will be responsible for preparing high school students for responsible leadership roles while making them aware of their rights, responsibilities, and privileges as American citizens.

To achieve this goal, you will develop, implement, and coordinate a four-year program of instruction based on the JROTC curriculum, and Master Training Schedule published by the Director of Army Instruction.

Additionally, you will participate in citywide JROTC programs and activities as required by the Director of Army Instruction, and maintain and submit records and reports to the school system and Army chain of command.

This is a highly rewarding role that requires strong communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and community groups.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree, certification by the US Army Cadet Command, and meet Army weight and physical fitness standards.

As a JROTC Leadership Educator, you will be part of a team that is dedicated to providing high-quality education and training to students, and we offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
