Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate broad processes across different departments and functional teams
  • Maintain a safe and secure work environment, educating employees on hazard identification and facilitating safety meetings
  • Lead a team of production staff, ensuring job expectations, duties, and responsibilities are defined and understood
  • Develop and implement plans to address skills gaps and provide training and development for direct reports
  • Collaborate with others to drive product-related quality issues to resolution
  • Encourage a culture of Continuous Improvement and Employee Involvement, and Lean Manufacturing
Requirements
  • 4+ years' experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work cross-functionally with other departments
  • Demonstrated leadership, drive, and potential to assume higher levels of responsibility
  • Accomplished in meeting production schedules, controlling, and improving production efficiency
  • Proven strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Strong computer skills, including knowledge and experience with manufacturing software/ERP, MS Office applications
