Job Summary

UCHealth is seeking a skilled Nurse Medical Unit Leader to provide leadership and supervision to our nursing staff on the night shift. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff on the night shift
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient care goals
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff
  • Identify and address staffing needs and make recommendations for adjustments
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
  • 1 year of nursing experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
