Nursing Unit Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to lead our nursing team on the PPW Nursing Unit. As a Nursing Unit Leader, you will be responsible for providing nursing leadership and supervision to a team of nurses during assigned shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing leadership and supervision to a team of nurses during assigned shifts
  • Determine staffing levels and assignments based on staff availability, staff abilities, census, and patient acuity
  • Provide direct patient care as needed and float between staff to assist with problem-solving
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care and identify any issues that affect desired patient outcomes
  • Respond to complaints about patient care and related services, and manage through established channels
  • Ensure staff has necessary equipment and supplies to provide safe, quality patient care
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
  • 1 year of nursing experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification
