Responsibilities:

As a Nursing Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing direct supervision to nursing staff on an assigned shift at one of our long-term care facilities. Your goal will be to maintain a safe and appropriate environment by performing rounds, addressing concerns from residents/patients/families, investigating and resolving problems as needed, and reporting incidents to management.

You will also be responsible for initiating and ensuring effective interdepartmental communication, maintaining accurate and complete medical records, and providing direct patient/resident care as needed.

Salary:

We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or diploma in Nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Valid NYS Professional Registered Nurse License.
  • Three years of nursing experience, preferably including one year in a skilled nursing facility.
  • At least two years of experience in a leadership capacity.
  • Knowledge of NYS DOH and Joint Commission standards.
  • Ability to delegate tasks effectively.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours to meet patient needs.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Service-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong documentation skills and proficiency in MS Office applications.
