The Early Childhood Family Engagement Coordinator plays a pivotal role in fostering strong relationships between families, schools, and the community. This position is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to engage and support families in their child's early childhood development, ensuring a welcoming environment for all families across the district.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement family engagement initiatives to promote early childhood development and family well-being.
- Collaborate with schools and community organizations to provide resources and support to families.
- Design and deliver family-focused programs and activities to promote social-emotional learning, literacy, and numeracy skills.
- Build and maintain relationships with families, schools, and community partners to ensure a cohesive and supportive environment.
- Conduct needs assessments and program evaluations to inform family engagement strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Community Service, Social Work, or related field.
- Two years of related work experience in family engagement, education, or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
