About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Officer/Risk Manager to join our team at North Central Health Care. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining effective compliance and risk management programs to ensure our adherence to regulatory compliance and ethical conduct.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement compliance programs, policies, and procedures to ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and other governmental requirements.
  • Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance and risk management principles, and ensure that each compliance risk area is identified and addressed through the annual compliance work plan.
  • Monitor and report on compliance matters, including investigations and grievances, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director and North Central Health Care Executive Committee to ensure compliance and regulatory proceedings are communicated and education is provided.
  • Develop and maintain processes to ensure the organization's compliance with applicable federal and state HIPAA regulations and guidelines, and all other applicable laws and regulations.
  • Provide leadership to NCHC's Compliance Committees and serve as the internal subject matter expert on privacy and confidentiality laws.
  • Ensure compliance with anti-discrimination laws and promote equal access to services for all patients.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with a major field of study in clinical health care, Health Services Administration, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Legal or related field.
  • At least five years of progressive healthcare or government experience.
  • Preferred experience with and certification in compliance and/or privacy regulations.

What We Offer:

  • Annual compensation range is $85,000-$95,000.
  • Full-time position located on-site.
  • HRSA National Health Service Corps Approved Site.
