Key Responsibilities
  • Provide security for casino property, maintaining high visibility and handling problem situations.
  • Patrol parking lots and property, ensuring a safe and secure environment for guests and employees.
  • Transfer Table Games fills and credits, ensuring accurate and efficient transactions.
  • Provide escorts as needed, ensuring the safety and security of our guests.
  • Oversee customer presence on property, including crowd control, directing traffic, checking I.D., and checking for items not allowed on the casino floor.
  • Check and verify valid I.D. using a hand-held scanning device, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Maintain the condition of the I.D. scanning device, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Provide assistance to customers, answering questions, handling complaints, and calling for cabs as needed.
  • Perform duties associated with table and slot drops, ensuring accurate and efficient transactions.
  • Observe Count Team during the slot drop and transport funds to the Count Room, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Monitor entry and exit from the Count and Player Services mantrap as required, ensuring a secure and safe environment.
  • Serve as a dispatcher, card and dice inspector, exterior patrol, and other security officer functions as needed.
  • Dispatch officers to various assignments and maintain activity logs, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Report accidents and incidents in both written and verbal form, collecting and compiling investigation information as needed.
  • Write detailed reports as required for incidents involving law violations and/or violations of company policy and procedure.
  • Testify in court when necessary, providing accurate and reliable testimony.
  • Meet department uniform, appearance, and grooming requirements, maintaining a professional and respectful image.
  • Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris, and litter, ensuring a safe and secure environment.
  • Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to regulatory, department, and company policies.
  • Perform other job-related and compatible duties as assigned, ensuring the success and growth of the company.
Qualification Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Ability to display professionalism.
  • Must be able to run on level surfaces, as well as up and down stairs.
  • Ability to identify and quickly respond to potential problems and conflicts; and defend self and others in combative situations.
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently move around all work areas, including walking and standing for long periods of time.
  • Ability to multi-task as required.
  • Must be able to earn and maintain an American Heart Association CPR/AED and First Aid certification.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving history as determined by Penn National Gaming auto insurance carrier if driving a company vehicle.
