About the Role

Citadel Security USA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients' sites, employees, vendors, visitors, and the general public.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct physical patrols of the facility to detect and deter potential threats.
  • Ensure the safety of the property and interact with staff and contractors as they arrive on-site.
  • Maintain a detailed written account of all actions and events during the shift.
  • Secure lost property and attempt to restore it to its rightful owner.
  • Be prepared to execute the Emergency Response plan in the event of a fire, medical emergency, evacuation, or other situation.
  • Receive deliveries of goods outside normal business hours and ensure their safe arrival.
  • Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned by the reporting manager or client.
Requirements
  • Provide credible references and I-9 Employment Eligibility Documentation.
  • Previous security or law enforcement experience is required.
  • High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Valid Private Security License is necessary.
  • Ability to perform job tasks in a professional manner and provide excellent customer service.
  • Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English is required.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
  • Ability to stand and walk for several hours per shift.
  • Reliable transportation and proximity to site(s) are necessary.
  • Basic computer skills are required.
  • Exemplary customer service and a positive attitude are essential.
  • Punctuality and a smartphone for scheduling and clocking in/out are necessary.
  • A dark-colored suit is required.
  • Overnights may be required.
  • Experience in CPR, first aid, firefighting, and crowd control is preferred but not required.
