Operations Support Specialist

Job Summary:
The Operations Support Specialist is responsible for providing administrative support to the Patient Financial Services team. This role will assist with daily operations, reporting, and special projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Patient Financial Services in daily operations, including reporting and Explanation of Benefits review.
- Perform various administrative tasks, such as copying, faxing, printing, and uploading documents.
- Process incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail and faxes.
- Update patient demographic and insurance information in client systems.
- Complete special projects to identify and reconcile payer-specific issues.
- Communicate with management to report areas of concern or improvement.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, or 3 years of relevant experience in lieu of diploma.
- Previous work experience in a business, retail, or customer service setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PC skills in a Windows environment, with knowledge of desktop applications, including Word and Excel.
- Ability to initiate and follow through on projects, working independently.
