Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Line Worker 1/C to join our team. As a Line Worker 1/C, you will be responsible for safely performing all types of transmission and distribution pole line work, including climbing poles, installing or maintaining crossarms, pins, insulators, wires and cable, transformers, cutouts, lightning arrestors and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely perform all types of transmission and distribution pole line work, including climbing poles and installing or maintaining equipment.
  • Work on energized lines and equipment in accordance with Company's Distribution and/or Transmission Standards and Safety Regulations.
  • Assume the responsibility of emergency duty with a minimum of supervision and direct the activities of lower rated workers.
  • Prepare and keep records as necessary and perform other appropriate work as assigned.
Requirements
  • Must have passed the exam and be a qualified 1/C.
  • Must have a Class II driver's license and a good record of safe driving.
  • Is subject to the Company random drug and alcohol testing policy.
  • Must reside within an acceptable distance from headquarters and be available for emergency assignments.
  • Must be capable of carrying out the essential functions of the classification.
