Job Overview:


The Clinical Pharmacist I is tasked with the responsibility and accountability for delivering a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient pharmaceutical care services, ensuring safe, effective, and timely medication therapy.

This pharmacist plays a crucial role in supporting both centralized and decentralized services, delivering optimal medication therapy to patients with diverse disease states.

Collaboration with multidisciplinary care providers is essential for monitoring, assessing, and providing clinical interventions to ensure that medication use aligns with patient care needs, evidence-based practices, established policies and protocols, and regulatory standards.


Qualifications:


Education:
Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree preferred or a B.S. Pharm degree.
Licenses:
Current Oregon Pharmacist license required.
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required (must be obtained within 6 months of hire).


Experience:

A minimum of 3 years of relevant hospital experience preferred.
