We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Advanced Surgery Centers. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their physical, emotional, and psychological needs. Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Implementation and Evaluation: Implement care plans and evaluate patient outcomes to ensure the highest level of care. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Leadership and Education: Provide leadership and guidance to other nursing staff members. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field.
- Communication and Teamwork: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions. Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient and effective care.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in PACU, ICU, or ER.
- Licensure: Current licensure to practice in the State of Texas.
- Certifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
Our work environment is indoors in a climate-controlled setting. You will be exposed to unpleasant odors, blood, and bodily fluids that may carry infection, infectious diseases, and chemical and electrical hazards. Occasional exposure to outdoor climate.
Physical Requirements:You will be required to lift and transfer patients in excess of 100 pounds, which may require pushing, pulling, and utilizing a full range of body movement. You will also be required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl. You will need to have good visual acuity, accurate color vision, and the ability to reach, grasp, use fine finger movement, and feel fine sensation to discern temperature, texture, size, and shape.
