Culinary Specialist - Legends

THE ROLE

As a Culinary Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting culinary operations under the guidance of the Executive Culinary Team. Your responsibilities will include:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Exhibit a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Implement and uphold a guest service philosophy that guides team members.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Culinary Team to discuss assignments and operational needs.
  • Ensure the highest quality of food is served to guests.
  • Demonstrate strong skills in cooking and line preparation.
  • Exhibit proficiency in meat and fish butchery, sauce preparation, and advanced cooking techniques.
  • Adhere to health and sanitation standards as well as Legends' operational guidelines.
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers and clients through effective communication.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is operational and regularly cleaned.
  • Adapt to various service locations as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Possess a culinary degree or equivalent experience from a certified apprenticeship program, with 2-3 years in the foodservice industry, particularly in premium services.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong commitment to exceptional customer service and leadership.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • High organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and accept responsibility for tasks.
  • Willingness to work during major events, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
