Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Line Operator to join our team. As a Line Operator, you will be responsible for operating equipment safely and efficiently, auditing products and processes to ensure 100% accuracy, and contributing to a positive team environment. Responsibilities
  • Operate all assigned equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Understand and comply with safe working procedures, including wearing correct PPE, knowing emergency evacuation procedures, and utilizing safe lifting techniques.
  • Maintain sanitary conditions on the line.
  • Assist Lead Line Operator and Maintenance Technician in the changeover of equipment.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • One year of work experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

You should also possess:

  • Knowledge of applicable OSHA practices.
  • Mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • The ability to operate light and heavy equipment, including the use of a forklift.
  • Critical-thinking skills to identify and resolve issues.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and be flexible in job roles.
Work Environment

The job requires exposure to a manufacturing facility, which may involve heat, irritant chemicals, operating machinery, and noise. You will be required to work from heights, lift, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, push, pull, feel, grasp, talk, and hear within normal ranges. You will also be required to perform repetitive motion.

Physical/Mental Requirements

The position requires Medium work, exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or a 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
