Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver daily support for the Equities Derivatives/Commodities trading desk, working closely with traders on intricate derivative products.
  • Diagnose support challenges, maintain active communication with the trading desk regarding platform concerns, and ensure prompt resolution of issues.
  • Guarantee precise trade capture, event processing, position representation, and risk exposure management within risk systems.
  • Collaborate with global Technology and Operations teams on strategic projects, share expertise across products and systems, test new technology implementations, and drive system improvements.
  • Execute reconciliation processes across systems to support upgrades and ensure seamless trading desk operations.
  • Rapidly adapt to changing desk operations, including the rollout of new products.
  • Document system requirements and solutions, and maintain a support run book for production-related issues.

Qualifications

  • Educational background in STEM fields such as Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Financial Engineering.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, including a solid understanding of applied Mathematics, Probability, and Statistics.
  • Experience in developing solutions within Equity Derivatives/Commodities sectors, utilizing risk management systems and resolving technical challenges.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting mission-critical applications in a trading environment.
  • Familiarity with database modeling, ETL processes, and Unix/Linux systems.
  • Self-driven with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively in high-pressure situations.
  • Robust analytical skills to comprehend complex cross-asset products and workflows.

The salary range for this position is US$90,000 - US$150,000.
