Job Title: Developmental Therapist

Soar Autism Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Developmental Therapist to join our team in Lakewood, Colorado.

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated professional to work with children with autism and their families, providing individualized developmental plans and implementing the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) in a 1:1 setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement individualized developmental plans for children with autism, ensuring comprehensive growth and progress.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to provide a seamless experience for families, from diagnosis through therapy.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with families, offering regular insights on their child's progress and providing guidance rooted in best child care practices.
  • Engage children in play-based routines, transforming everyday moments into opportunities for teaching and nurturing essential life skills.
Qualifications:
  • Genuine interest and prior experience in child care roles, such as daycare, nannying, or similar positions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a talent for building connections with young children and their families.
  • Works effectively on a team.
