Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Mount Carmel Health System. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our clinical team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Patient Care
    • Deliver patient care for an assigned group of patients, utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation & evaluation).
    • CLIA-waived testing (i.e.) point of care glucose.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Team
    • Collaborate with physicians and other health care disciplines regarding the patient's plan of care.
    • Initiates appropriate non-physician consults (i.e. dietary, social services, chaplain, etc.).
  • Document Patient Information
    • Provides accurate and complete documentation in accordance with standards, policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Participate in Performance Improvement
    • Participates in and coordinates with organizational process to collect and evaluate information about hazards and safety practices that are used to identify safety management issues.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Graduate from a school of nursing, BSN preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification
    • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
  • Experience
    • Previous health care experience, in an acute hospital setting preferred.
  • Skills
    • Demonstrates the ability to plan, organize and manage patient care, including delegation to and supervision of other members of the patient care team.
    • Demonstrates effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks effectively. The Registered Nurse must be able to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies as needed.
