Role Overview: As a Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in educating customers about our product offerings, staying informed about the latest developments in the industry, and guiding customers through their purchasing decisions. You will be the primary point of contact for customer interactions at the dispensary, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- People: Collaborate effectively with a professional team, promoting a positive workplace culture.
- Process/Technology: Uphold operational excellence and compliance by staying informed about local and state regulations and adhering to company policies.
- Customer: Continuously educate yourself on industry science and product knowledge, connect with a diverse range of customers, and exemplify a customer-first approach.
- Finance: Demonstrate strong cash handling skills, follow company operational policies, and work alongside store leadership to enhance business acumen and achieve team objectives.
Qualifications:

- Reliable transportation is essential.
- Possess a valid Marijuana Handlers Permit.
- Comply with all legal and company regulations for retail cannabis operations.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Genuine interest and knowledge in the cannabis industry, aligned with Groundworks' mission.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, and kneel in retail and production environments.
- Capability to push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Maintain focus in busy environments with distractions.
- Ability to use PPE as required.
- Proficient in sitting at a desk and working on a computer for extended periods.
