Certification Requirements
  • AHA Certifications: Refer to the Unit Description in Cost Center for ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, CHEMO certifications.
  • Technical Certification Verification: National certification verification is mandatory.
  • Continuing Education Units: CEUs are required.
  • Testing Acknowledgment: Acknowledgment of Pass/Fail Testing is necessary.
  • State License Verification: Verification of State License 1 is required.
  • NURSYS Verification: Required for RN, LPN/LVN, AP.
Position Overview
  • Candidates must possess familiarity and experience adhering to AAMI ST79 standards.
  • A minimum of 6 months to 1 year of travel experience is essential; first-time travelers will not be considered.
  • Supervisory responsibilities include managing the floor operations, overseeing sterilization processes, coordinating staff breaks/lunches, and liaising with the OR while performing duties as a Sterile Processing Technician.
  • The initial two weeks of orientation will be conducted on a day shift from 11 AM to 7:30 PM before transitioning to the assigned contracted shift.
  • Experience in Orthopedics, Robotics, Neuro, Endoscopy, and Spine is required.
Job Qualifications
  • Certification: CBSPD or IAHCSMM certification is mandatory.
  • Preferred Certification: CFER certification is preferred.
  • Experience: Proficiency in SPM tracking and VPRO is required.
  • Time Off: No RTO is available for this contract.
Work Schedule
  • Weekend and holiday shifts will be rotated among staff.
