About the Role

We are seeking a talented Footwear Designer II to join our team in Portland, OR. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for elevating our Performance Run and Training footwear line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with design leadership to drive concepts for Performance Run and Training footwear.
  • Work collaboratively with Marketing and Development teams to meet project objectives.
  • Lead the creation of seasonal footwear projects and milestone deliverables.
  • Develop and execute clear and detailed sketches, renderings, and technical drawings.
  • Present design project work within individual project teams and at category design checkpoints.

  • Drive partnerships beyond the Design function (Marketing, Engineering, Development, etc.).
  • BA, BFA, or BS in Industrial Design not required.
  • 5+ years of experience designing and developing innovative footwear and other products.
  • Knowledge of form, color, materials, and human factors related to elevating the consumer experience.
  • Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator skills.
  • Working knowledge of 3D software is a plus.
  • Ability to create accurate 2D technical drawings.
  • Strong sketching, illustration, and rendering skills.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
  • Must be able to generate a broad range of concepts and solutions for each project.
  • Hand prototyping skills are a plus.
  • Experienced with presentation programs: Keynote, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc.
