Job Summary

UNC Health Care is seeking a skilled Clinical Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide administrative and clinical support to our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist professional caregivers in delivering patient care, transporting patients and equipment, and maintaining patient rooms.
  • Perform a wide range of clerical, transcription, and maintenance tasks, including data entry, order processing, and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
  • Provide basic life support and perform routine quality assurance audits.
  • Participate in the orientation of new employees and students, and assist with specimen collection and other clinical tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • 6 months of clerical or customer service experience.
  • Fluency in verbal and written English language.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
