We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer SME to join our team in support of Federal Government clients. As a ServiceNow Developer SME, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom applications and integrations on the ServiceNow platform.

This position is 100% onsite. Qualified candidates must have an active TS/SCI security clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop custom applications, workflows, and integrations on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, administrators, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and design effective solutions.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using ServiceNow best practices and coding standards.
  • Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of developed solutions.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with other systems and tools used by Federal Government clients.
  • Optimize application performance and scalability.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and other team members.
  • Stay current with ServiceNow updates, patches, and new features.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or master's degree in software engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer Certification.
  • Strong proficiency in ServiceNow scripting languages, such as JavaScript and AngularJS.
  • Experience with ServiceNow APIs, integrations, and web services.
  • Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and best practices, such as Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools, such as Scrum and Jira.
  • Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
  • Candidates do not need a current Security Clearance but must be clearable.
  • ServiceNow Certified Integration Specialist Certification is a plus.
  • Experience working with Federal Government clients and understanding of their requirements is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), Human Resources (HR), and Customer Service Management (CSM) ServiceNow applications.
